C63 BLACK SERIES? UMM, YES PLEASE (pics)
BOOOYAA! Mercedes Benz’s limited Black Series vehicles always find a special place in our hearts. Merc’s newest edition to the Black Series family is the C63 AMG Black Series Coupe, which just got spotted making it’s debut in France by Speedfans (merci beaucoup!). According to them: “What i know right now from my colleague who was there is that its the 6.2 liters NA V8, with 517 ps [510 hp], around 640 NM of torque [472 lb-ft] (it’s nearly the same configuration as in the previous CLS63). Its 20kg [44lbs} lighter than the standard AMG coupe, LSD is standard, it has the MCT gearbox, 4 seats (first time on a Black), a bigger rear spoiler is optional as will be some more ‘track focused’ features (no details yet). On sale mid November in Germany for less than 100K euros, beginning of 2012 for the rest of the world. Don’t know for the importation on your side of the Atlantic.”
