KANYE AND JAY-Z MAKE A 57 GO TOPLESS (video)

Sunday, August 14th, 2011
Hip Hop moguls Kanye West and Jay-Z recently came out with a great DIY video on how to make your Maybach 57 a roofless junkyard-rod. The video for their hit “Otis” features them not only scalping a $350,000+ car, but hooning around in it with 4 purdy ladies in the back. The video, of course, is above and beyond but at the same time- everything we’d all love to do. The car that was produced for the video will be sold at auction to support famine and drought relief efforts in Africa,

DJ STEVE GOUSBY @ HOT IMPORT NIGHTS

Wednesday, June 23rd, 2010

Make sure to come by our massive installation at Hot Import Nights on Friday 7/2 and Saturday 7/3 and check out Boston’s own DJ Steve Gousby. He’ll be spinning both nights, so don’t miss out! See below for more info.

Steve Gousby found his love for music growing up in Roxbury’s Orchard Park in Boston Mass.  His first mix was taking the sounds from two separate boom boxes, and blending them together with precision.  That was a sign of things to come.

While studying Radio and Television at Emerson College, Steve was recruited by one of the biggest names in Radio Elroy Smith the Program Director of what was WILD. Steve was hired for his personality, his love of R&B and Hip Hop music, and the ability to blend records with precision.  From that point on DJ Steve Gousby has developed not only into the most recognized name, but one of Boston’s best crowd pleasers, who later became Program Director for both WILD and Hot 97 Boston.

DJ Steve Gousby has rocked parties for the past 20 years throughout Massachusetts, the surrounding States, and as far as Bermuda!

Steve’s resume of events is miles long, but here is a list of functions just to name a few!

Some of Steve’s most memorable parties was working various events with Morehouse College and the “Mo Betta Gala” with Spike Lee, Forest Whittaker’s Engagement Party, Fundraisers with the New England Patriots for the Boys & Girls club, The various Juneteenth Celebrations, all the events for WILD Radio, the beach party events with Bet’s Kelly G, as well as the countless number of private events ranging from Weddings, Birthday parties and School events.

DJ Steve Gousby’s love for music expands far beyond just being a DJ.  His influence is also noted on remixes with Marcus Bellringer for Chico Debarge “No Guarantee Remix”, K-CI & JoJo, Rahsaan Patterson, and many others.
