Some of the world’s best drivers are still put in their place by Pikes Peak. Bobby Regester and his modified Pontiac Sunfire found that out this past weekend when he literally drove off a cliff. Luckily for Bobby, he didn’t continue all the way down the mountain thanks to a very well placed boulder and he was actually able to walk away from the crash. Unfortunately, he is now suffering from permanent puckered-up disorder though.

Friday, June 17th, 2011Hot Wheels driver Tanner Foust landed the record breaking jump at this year’s Indy 500, but it almost didn’t happen at all. In this practice run video, you can see how close Tanner came to a grizzly end after what I’m sure was a major code brown moment for him and the crew. Check out the video below.

Tuesday, April 5th, 2011This video popped up on the ol inter-web yesterday via Jalopnik that definitely qualifies as one of the more scary driving scenarios ever, as well as the perfect time to be wearing a pair of Depends. The first reaction by many, was that it was a fake. I mean, how often do people drive around and film two boring trucks? But, thanks again to the fine folks at Jalopnik, they have revealed in an interview with the driver, that this video is indeed real. Watch and be glad it wasn’t you, below.

Wednesday, October 27th, 2010Underground Racing’s 1,900hp, twin turbo Lamborghini Gallardo had a grizzly end this past Saturday at the Texas Mile. After reaching a top speed of 235mph, Richard Holt lost control after deploying his chute and hitting the brakes. While the crash might be crazy, the fact that he walked away with only minor bruising is completely insane.

Bumblebee gets stung…(video)
Tuesday, October 12th, 2010While filming the third installment of the Transformers series in Washington DC yesterday, Bumblebee had a little run in with the law. And by run in I mean the famous yellow Camaro T boned the hell out of a local police SUV. Not 100% sure what the story is, but my guess is the cop somehow didn’t realize that the road was closed (way to go, by the way). Michael Bay’s endless bad luck with filming this movie should be enough to tell him to throw in the towel and walk away. Oh, and to make better movies too.

Whoever buys one of these should have to do some sort of driving test or something. Either that, or this car is cursed. Which I really hope isn’t the case, cause I already cut a kidney out for one.
